Jesus said quite a bit about serving those around us. Christians are to be people of action, meeting the real needs people have. The Church in Drive is dedicated to reaching out to our neighbors in need. Those needs could be spiritual, physical, emotional, etc. Whatever it is a person lacks, Jesus has it. Our job is to connect them with Jesus. There are several things we need to do in order to do this. We are going to organize community service projects and missions trips. We need to let people know we are here. We also need to be financially responsible with the resources entrusted to us. Our services must be well planned and supported. If you have a passion to evangelize, a desire to help those in need, if you are good at publicity, if you have accounting and financial skills, or if you like to work behind the scenes by setting up chairs or taking down the sound system for our meetings, the Service Team could really use you!
